Painting since the beginning of the 60's, Peticov was one of the pioneers in the use of acrylic paint on canvas instead of oil paint, the most used by most artists up to that time.
Since then, his pictorial production exceeds 1300 canvases, in addition to several drawings and engravings.
Since he started his silkscreen production in 1974 at the Arte3 studio in Milan, Peticov's graphic work has been a great success both in Brazil and abroad.
In parallel to his production of images linked to magical realism, whose serigraphs perfectly translate the poetry of his work, Peticov also produced series of serigraphs linked to his geometric painting.
